THIS WEEK
TAKING A LOOK AT
Dave Germano

Dave Germano began racing at the Plainville Stadium in the early 70's.  Dave became a threat to win most every week winning several Plainville features through out the 70's. Dave raced on occasion at other tracks including Riverside Park Speedway, but for the most part made Plainville his home.  Like many of the Plainville drivers, when the track closed so did their racing career.  Dave went on to become a high school teacher in one of the Connecticut Public School Systems, currently a high school assistant principle.

Dave's first car purchased from Billy Dunn, who went on to become the longtime starter at Riverside Park Speedway.  After an absence of several years, Dunn is now waving the flags at the Waterford Speedbowl.

Dave captured his first checkered flag behind the wheel of Eddie Mack's #95.
