Mike Stefanik's early career began in the Late Model Divisions.  In 78 & 79 he won 11 features in the Late Model Sportsman at Stafford.  Moving to the Modifieds he was immediately overshadowed by his late brother Bob Stefanik's record, but came into his own in the mid 80's and went onto become one of the best Modified drivers of his era.
