Ralph "Pud" Noble receives
congratulations from starter Ted Abbott after a 1968 Plainville Stadium victory.
Pud's best year at the Stadium was 1968 when he captured 4 Feature wins
including one of the Big Wednesday Night Open Competition 100 Lappers.
Starter Ted Abbott, a Waterbury, CT. Fireman, was killed when a racer hit the
starters stand at Danbury Racearena in August of 1979.
Pud is has been in the Hospital
for several week's after sustaining a broken hip. Get Well Cards can reach
