Jerry Dostie started racing at the old West Haven Speedway in 1955, but would not win his first feature until 1963 in the Waterford Speedbowl's "Bomber Division winning 7 more times that year.  His first Modified win came at the Speedbowl in 1964. Jerry would go on to win races at Stafford, Thompson and the Trenton Mile oval behind the wheel of cars owned by Art Barry, the Ted Marsh #55 and his own beautiful 7 Crown creations.
