THIS WEEK
TAKING A LOOK AT
John Bergenty

John Bergenty started racing at Plainville Stadium in 1974, becoming a threat to win every week. During a career that now spans every decade since the 70's John has competed at tracks from Stafford, Riverside, Thompson to Waterford. After a 4 year absence from racing, a surprise call found John behind the wheel of the Barr #84 at this weeks Waterford Speedbowl's Bud Nationals SK 150.  Qualifying 9th, John finished on the lead lap a respectable 7th place. If some sponsorship can be found, it is possible you might find John competing weekly at the Speedbowl. John will also be a guest on this week's Nostalgia portion of the Speedway Line Report with Gary Danko Monday from 6 to 7:30 P.M. on Waterbury, Ct's. WATR 1320 A.M., which will be rebroadcast here on vintagemodifieds.com starting Wednesday at 5:00 P.M.  More photos of John can be found in the Photo Gallery section of the Vintage Modifieds Web Site.
