TAKING A LOOK AT MARVIN CHASE

Those not familiar with the Waterford Speedbowl may not know the name Marvin Chase. Though not one of the biggest winners, Marvin started racing in 1961 and didn't stop for almost 3 decades winning features at both the Speedbowl and Norwood Arena. Marvin will be one of the former drivers in attendance at the NEAR Movie Party set for Friday Nov. 14th (Note New Date) from 7:00 to 11:00 P.M. Marvin's 1st feature victory on May of 1965. Pictured along with promoter John Brower are 2nd & 3rd place finishers, A young Bob Potter (right) and Dick Gervais.  Bob Potter has also indicated he will be present at the NEAR Movie Party.


The #71 Marvin campaigned in 1973 at the Speedbowl.

 


Marvin drove the Capri bodied Modified in 1976.
